Professional Experience
Amber C. Winer-Gebhart is a Trial Lawyer at George Salinas Injury Lawyers. As a lawyer with the firm, she handles cases from pre-litigation all the way through trial.
Amber graduated from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and completed her undergraduate education at the University of St. Thomas where she earned a BA in Liberal Arts with concentrations in Biology and Political Science.
Amber passed the Florida State Bar in July 2006 and passed the Texas State Bar in February 2007. Amber served as an assistant district attorney for Bexar County where she tried cases from misdemeanors to felonies. After leaving the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office in 2010, Amber worked at an insurance defense firm and as house counsel for a major insurance carrier where she tried cases to verdict.
Amber also worked at other personal injury firms and handled cases from prelitigation all the way through trial. She was the first char trial attorney for Allstate Insurance Company v. Daniel Wes Irwin, 606 S.W.3d 774 (Tex. 2021), which created precedent for claiming attorney’s fees in first-party cases.
